Summary

This recording was made at husband and wife Ted and Zona Gordon’s apartment in San Francisco and is the third of three parts of the interview. Speakers include: Ted Gordon, Zona Gordon, Chuck Rosenak, and at the very end of the recording, an unknown speaker. Ted speaks about the way he visualizes the world, and the techniques and materials he uses for his drawings and “doodles” as well as about the “interminable” aspect of his artwork, that is, how he feels they are never finished. Zona speaks about her doll-making practice and Ted’s work habits. Chuck and Ted discuss various folk art collectors and an upcoming exhibition of Ted’s artwork.
