The Correspondence series was arranged by the original processor, and it was left mostly untouched when the collection was revised and the finding aid written. It is arranged in several different broad categories, including by subject, alphabetical by surname, and by date. The arrangement should be fairly self-explanatory, but it is recommended that the researcher checks multiple files if he or she is looking for something in particular. For example, it is possible that correspondence to or from an individual who has his or her own distinct folder (for example, folder 27: Mott, Maryanne and Herman Warsh) might also be found in the folders arranged by date, or in the condolence cards and letters.

A folder that might be of particular interest is called “VIPs.” It contains correspondence from fairly well-known individuals, ranging from politicians to artists to labor organizers. It is unknown if the Fasanellas kept this folder distinct from other correspondence, or if this organization was created at a later date.
