American Labor Museum, 1990 - 1999
Scope and Contents
This series contains material organized alphabetically by the name of the cultural organization. In the original processing of the Fasanella papers, there were two separate groupings of materials: museums and galleries. However, there was an extraordinary amount of duplicated material in both groups, both galleries and museums were filed into the other category, and exhibition-specific files were mixed in. There were also institutions that were not primarily museums or galleries, such as universities and not-for-profit organizations, mixed in with both categories. Museums, galleries, universities, and other institutions were all interfiled into one grouping, arranged alphabetically.
This material contains correspondence, printed matter, news clippings, and press releases. Often the material is related to Fasanella being invited to attend or speak at events, or to sell his posters. Sub-series B: Awards and Sub-series C: Events are both about specific awards (mostly award dinners) and events that were organized or presented by cultural organizations not represented in Sub-series A.
